Gunkul Spectrum is an energy and solar solutions company specialising in solar systems, renewable energy, and factory-direct distribution across Thailand.

As a Creative Video Producer,

I was responsible for the entire creative production process — from interpreting project briefs and developing concepts,

to production planning, directing, filming,

and editing large-scale corporate campaigns and communication materials.

The Challenge

Working within the energy and engineering sector required understanding highly technical information and transforming it into communication that was clear, engaging, and accessible to wider audiences.

Key Projects

NEDO x Gunkul Spectrum Microgrid Prototype Project

One of the most significant projects was the development of a VTR for the NEDO x Gunkul Spectrum Microgrid Prototype Project in collaboration with Naresuan University.

At the time, microgrid systems were still considered highly innovative in Thailand.

The project focused on creating a sustainable energy network within the Faculty of Energy Engineering by

installing solar panels across multiple buildings
developing large-scale solar fields
integrating energy storage systems
reducing dependency on government electricity infrastructure

The VTR was produced for an official press conference attended by

executives from NEDO Japan
university professors
engineering researchers
industry partners

To make the complex engineering system easier to understand, the storytelling concept compared energy network design to bespoke tailoring — where every energy solution must be carefully designed around the needs of its users.

The production involved

interviewing executives and professors
directing narrative structure
filming on location in Phitsanulok for over five days
documenting real infrastructure installations
drone operation and aerial cinematography
working closely with engineers throughout production

The final film successfully transformed a highly technical engineering project into a visual story that felt accessible, human, and forward-thinking.

Gunkul Engineering x CJ More

Produced a corporate VTR announcing the partnership between Gunkul Spectrum and CJ More for the nationwide installation of solar systems across CJ More branches.
